Unbelievable, shameful news: the GOP officially declared the January 6th insurrection “legitimate political discourse”.
Let’s be clear: the happenings of January 6th were not legitimate political discourse. It was, however, a fatal riot and an attempted coup bringing insurmountable shame on our entire country, with the rest of the world watching in disbelief.
Nine people died, and more than 150 officers were injured — yet the RNC passed this resolution without so much as a discussion, let alone dissent.
